FAQs

How are campers grouped up?

We divide camp into sections for "littles" (K & 1st grade), "middles" (2nd & 3rd grade), and "bigs" (4th - 6th grade). Campers are further broken out into groups of 8-10 campers based on grade and sometimes gender. This said, group specific activities take up about 10% of our day! Campers have a lot of freedom to spend time where and with who they want, so don't fret if you have siblings or friends who want to spend time together at camp... there will be lots of opportunities for that!

Do campers leave the property?

The plan for 2025 is to be on-site almost exclusively (no or very limited field trips). There's so much fun to be had right here in Snowmass!

How is the day at camp structured?

8:30 - 9:30AM: Campers arrive and can join a morning activity or free play

9:30 - 10AM: Campers get into groups and play a small or big group game

10 - 10:20AM: Snack time

10:20 - Noon: Campers are presented with morning rotation options and can free flow / spend their time doing activities they choose

Noon - 1PM: Lunch & Recess

1 - 2:30PM: Afternoon Main Events (i.e. color run, slip n slides, etc.)

2:30 - 3PM: Snack Shack

3 - 3:30PM: Treehouse play while parents arrive for pick-up

Is there a bus to camp from Aspen?

This is TBD and please don't count on it. You will receive notification closer to camp if we are able to work this out.

Are snacks or lunch provided?

We offer a treat from the "Snack Shack" every afternoon that is included in the cost of camp (it doesn't cost real money, though campers earn "Smashbucks," the official camp currency, to pay at the window - it's very exciting).

Please plan to pack a lunch and AM snacks from home each day.

We typically offer a BBQ hot lunch on Fridays for $10. More info provided as we approach your camp week.

Will there be POD / "Specialty Weeks" like last year?

Elements and activities from the specialty weeks will be incorporated into our party week offerings this summer... it's the best of both worlds!
